As a professional oboist, having performed in a variety of musical environments, I completely understand the unique requirements of the Oboist, albeit a student beginner through to a professional player. To ensure a player selects the correct instrument for their needs, I will spend as much time with them as necessary and advise as required. Ultimately, the decision on any Oboe must wholeheartedly be the players. I am there to help, offer advice and confirm as required.

The Oboe Shop is part of Crowthers of Canterbury, run by Ian Crowther - a professional oboist. Our aim is to offer specialist oboe advice, quality instruments, accessories, sheet music and cds. New oboe products, are continually being added to the store.
